Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
- Design and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Build and maintain ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Participate in all phases of BI/data development, including data modeling, impact analysis, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to define data and reporting requirements.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance in a large-scale data environment.
- Provide support for production systems and assist in troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in data development with relational databases.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS), and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Ability to apply best practices in data modeling, ETL, and database management.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and Agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies.
- Knowledge of Data Vault data modeling methodology.
- Background in the Education or Government sector.
- Familiarity with Ed-Fi, CEDS, or SIF data standards.
Education & Other Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Local Arizona candidates only must be able to work onsite up to 5 days a week as needed.
- Must clear a standard 7-year background check.
