- Deployment and implementation of best practices on the IBMi/Power systems platform.
- Maintain peak operating performance of IBMi/Power environments, its related equipment, and core applications.
- IBMi/Power Hardware and Software upgrades (including Operating System upgrades)
- IBMi/Power Performance Monitoring and Tuning.
- PowerVM and Virtualization of Power Systems.
- Application of PTFs, CUMs, system saves, and IPL management.
- Maintain system High Availability/DR readiness using PowerHA.
- Configure partitions and systems using the Hardware Management Console (HMC), physical and virtual.
