What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Specialist position at Infor?
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting corporate employees with "client side" technology including PC maintenance, peripheral support, mobile phone support, audio/visual tools, troubleshooting, and management of software and company assets.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting company PCs and laptops
- Performing installations, configurations, and upgrading tasks
- Researching and evaluating hardware and software
- Making recommendations for improving performance
- Assisting corporate employees with audio/visual issues and video conferencing solutions
- Managing mobile devices and inventory
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams, MacOS, and WindowsOS
- Previous experience providing PC support
- Previous inventory management experience
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in computer science or information technology
- Previous experience with mobile device management
- Previous experience with audio/visual support
- IT-related certifications
