We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and conflict management, ensuring the safety of both personnel and property.
Duties
- Monitor and help manage the flow of traffic within the retail store and in the parking lot.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills as necessary.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.
- Ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security is preferred.
- Certification in surveillance techniques is highly desirable.
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
