Engineering Application Developer supports the customer's work backlog and is tasked with delivering model building, work-flow execution, and post processing capability to the organization.
The following work tasks are representative and should not be considered all-inclusive:
- Develop plans identifying the deliverables and milestones. This plan shall be reviewed and
agreed to by customer personnel. - Report progress against plans.
- Adhere to customer Agile software development processes and methodology.
i) Requirements development
ii) Design/architecture development
iii) Coding
iv) Testing
v) Documentation
vi) Operation and maintenance
Salary range- $90-130k
- Must have a DoD Secret or DOE L security clearance, or higher
- Four-year degree in Computer Science or engineering/technical discipline.
- Experience in scientific application software development using object oriented analysis and design and software engineering processes and methods.
- Experience in programming languages such as Java, C , and Python. This list is representative and should not be considered all-inclusive.
- Experience in technical and software documentation, software testing and formal software quality assurance.
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting, Perl and/or Fortran.
