POSITION OBJECTIVES
1. Understand Business Objectives and Problems
Conduct thorough analysis of current business objectives and operational challenges.
Identify and document key business problems and inefficiencies in workflows.
2. Identify Alternative Solutions
Research and propose multiple solutions to address identified business problems.
Perform cost/benefit analysis for each alternative solution to determine the most viable option.
3. Analyze User Requirements and Procedures
Engage with personnel from various organizational units to understand their specific
input and output requirements.
Document user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify
computer programs.
4. Improve Existing Computer Systems
Review current computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations.
Determine feasibility of requested program changes within the existing system framework.
5. Conduct Root Cause Analysis
Identify underlying system and process inefficiencies causing recurring problems.
Implement solutions to prevent these issues from recurring, thereby reducing
downtime and increasing productivity.
6. Drive Process Improvements
Evaluate existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and redundancies.
Recommend and implement automation or optimization strategies to streamline operations.
7. Enhance Collaboration and Communication
Work cross-functionally with business units and IT teams to ensure alignment
between technology solutions and business needs.
Improve collaboration and reduce miscommunication through effective stakeholder engagement.
8. Leverage Data Analysis for Strategic Decisions
Utilize data analysis and system performance insights to support leadership in
making informed, strategic decisions.
Provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
9. Achieve Cost Savings
Focus on preventative measures and continuous improvement to reduce hidden costs
associated with inefficiencies.
Implement solutions that minimize unnecessary rework, system downtime, and operational delays.
10. Ensure Long-term Success
Optimize systems and processes for sustainable growth and improved business outcomes
Continuously monitor and refine strategies to maintain high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.

4 Preferred - Experience with Root cause analysis techniques help identify the underlying reasons behind problems, preventing recurrence and have experience with applying RCA methods such as 5-Whys, Fishbone diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, Pareto charts, and Chang
4 Preferred - Problem Identification: Identify and categorize problems based on their impact and urgency.
4 Preferred - Problem Investigation: Investigate problems to understand their root causes and impact.
4 Preferred - Solution Development: Develop and implement solutions, including temporary workarounds and permanent fixes.
4 Preferred - Problem Resolution: Ensure that problems are resolved within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
4 Preferred - Problem Closure: Close problems after they have been resolved and documented.
4 Preferred - Communication: Keep stakeholders informed about the status of problems and solutions.
4 Preferred - Continuous Improvement: Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously seek ways to improve Problem Management processes.
4 Preferred - Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
2 Preferred - Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) to extract, transform, and load data, enabling businesses to use data for analysis and decision-making, extracting data from various sources, such as databases, files, and cloud services.
1 Preferred - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field is preferred.
1 Preferred - ITIL Certification is preferred
