AADS and AI at Lilly have recently combined to form Advanced Intelligence! Advanced Intelligence is actively looking for an AI Product Manager to be located in Indianapolis, IN and to lead technology teams at the intersection of agile methodologies and artificial intelligence. As an AI Product Manager, you will lead technology teams building solutions that improve performance and reliability of processes and systems in pharma. What You'll Be Doing:
Product Leadership and Agile AI Strategy: Own multiple products and capabilities holistically to ensure they meet expected business outcomes. Lead multidisciplinary teams to infuse AI innovations into our capabilities and solutions, aligning with overarching business objectives and user requirements via user stories and acceptance criteria. Spearhead the strategic integration of AI capabilities into our solutions, leveraging SAFe and multiple methodologies to guarantee agile and effective rollouts.
Prompt Engineering Mastery: Engineer and refine AI prompts that direct models to achieve specific outcomes, requiring a technical grasp of AI, inventive prompt crafting, and optimization based on an established business process context.
Solution Development and Agile Mindset: Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and product teams across our company and industry to weave AI technologies into our solutions, upholding expectations for quality in delivered solutions. Advocate for agile development processes, nurturing an ecosystem of quick cycles and constructive feedback.
Quality Assurance and Agile Excellence: Uphold quality in AI-generated content and agile project management by instituting robust testing protocols, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices, and data-driven performance review.
Innovation, Investigation, and Ethical Governance: Remain at the forefront of AI and agile methodology innovations. Champion the integration of innovative technologies and practices to enrich our capability suite, all while adhering to ethical AI development principles and privacy mandates.

What You Should Bring:
Blended Expertise in AI and Agile: Demonstrated experience in managing AI product development within a SAFe and other agile frameworks. Understanding of AI technologies and their application in crafting innovative solutions.
Strategic Vision and Technical Acumen: The ability to convey a compelling strategic vision for AI-powered products, coupled with the technical expertise to oversee AI prompt engineering and product development processes.
Leadership and Collaborative Skills: Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of steering cross-functional teams. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders and drive project success.
Innovative Thinking and Problem-Solving: A zest for innovation and a creative approach to problem-solving. An openness to experimenting with novel ideas and methodologies in AI application development.
Ethical Mindset and Continuous Learning: A commitment to ethical AI practices and a continuous learning ethos. A keen interest in staying abreast of the latest developments in AI research, agile methodologies, and industry best practices.
Your Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- 5 years of technology program leadership experience with expertise in industry standard methodologies.
- 2 years experience in similar product leadership roles with technology, including experience with enterprise technology programs
Additional Preferences:
- Scaled Agile, Agile, and Scrum certifications
- Prompt engineering experience and education
- Previous technical program team leadership experience
- 2 years of experience in working with AI technologies and tools, such as natural language processing (NLP), generative AI (LLMs,) machine learning algorithms, deep learning, etc.
Additional Information:
- Position located in Indianapolis, Indiana working in a hybrid model. Remote work within the US may be considered.
- Travel may be required periodically.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$123,000 - $180,400
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
