Director, IT Quality Operations
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Director, IT Quality Operations provides strategic oversight and leadership for the execution, deployment, and continuous improvement of IT Quality System processes. Leading a team of quality professionals, they are accountable for the operations, maintenance and governance of various quality system processes. The Director, IT Quality Operations actively partners with the BTS organization and AQR to plan and implement key quality system initiatives while ensuring a continuous state of compliance and driving updates to the quality system.
- Partner with key stakeholders in IT to proactively evaluate and monitor the health of the quality system. Drive improvements to enhance operational effectiveness, and address compliance risks and emerging trends.

Develops strategy, processes, governance and team to support the following key processes:
- CAPA
- Document Control
- Training
- Supplier Quality
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Quality operations team and across the organization. Leverage benchmarking data from peers and industry leaders to drive best-in-class solutions.
- Lead a team of professionals responsible for the ownership, maintenance and oversight of core quality system processes.
- Demonstrates exceptional relationship building with ability to leverage influence to achieve the goals of the organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader for core quality system elements.
- Raise awareness about the importance of a Quality Culture and shared accountability for the BTS Quality System.
- Fluent in assessing and balancing risk with the ability to drive continuous improvement in their organization.
- Attract and retain talent, and ensure staff development (leadership, cross-functional, technical, global perspective). Promote and foster diversity.
- Establish and maintain a resource model that can flex as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) required.
- Experienced life science technology leader with domain expertise working within highly regulated markets.

12 years of experience throughout the following environments:
- Quality/Compliance management in a regulated healthcare environment
- Software Development and Validation
- Regulated Software Development and Validation Industry Environments
- IT Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Requires strong analytical skills, business intelligence, effective communication, interpersonal skills, organizational intelligence, relationship management, the ability to make meaningful decisions based on sound judgement, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of roles from Executive Management to Quality Assurance Analysts.
The base pay for this position is $147,300.00 – $294,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
