Our platform distributes critical documents across multiple channels for Data Processing, Printing, and Mailing, and our hosted Electronic Billing, Presentment, and Payment applications.
The Senior Systems Administrator II will assist in all aspects of InfoSend's IT security and compliance efforts, including internal and external audits, client questionnaires, and the creation and maintenance of company policies and procedures and employee training opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Acquire new hardware and software
- Install and configure new hardware and software
- Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing systems
- Apply updates, patches, and configuration changes
- Systems performance tuning
- Automate routine tasks
- Analyze system logs identifying potential issues with computer systems
- Perform routine audits of systems and software
- Troubleshoot any reported problems
- Perform backups
- Answer technical queries and assisting users
- Responsible for computer and network security
- Responsible for documenting the configuration of the systems
- Ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running
- Configure, add, delete file systems
- Analyze and recommend procedures consistent with departmental directives, policies and regulations that are developed by higher level management staff
- Design, install, operate, administer, maintain and upgrade complex operating systems; provide technical assistance to users; consult on feasibility, costs and benefits of additions or enhancements; assist in the transition of data between systems on multiple platforms
- Direct help-desk functions; oversee the development and implementation of problem resolutions; coordinate hardware/software repairs; prioritize and schedule service requests
- Manage and design the growth of the systems and networks; monitor and enhance complex computer and telecommunications systems to ensure proper functioning
- Assist in developing InfoSend standards for LAN/WAN administration
- Review plans for software and hardware equipment and services; oversee the maintenance inventories; plan for equipment; research, evaluate and test hardware and software products; coordinate hardware and software purchases
- Research and evaluate software and hardware technologies; plan for future requirements
- Develop detailed specifications; prepare procedures documentation
- Manage and review the performance of contractors and vendors and resolve any disputes
- Attend meetings and represent the Systems Administration department as necessary
Compliance Responsibilities:
- Help review IT infrastructure and application architecture for security and compliance
- Review partner and vendor Cybersecurity Policies and Procedures, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery Plans, and SOC Audit Reports
- Facilitate responses to client and prospective client questionnaires regarding InfoSend’s IT security and compliance methodologies
- Support InfoSend’s vendor management program, conducting vendor due diligence review process, serving as a point of contact for partners and third-party vendors to initiate and complete the initial and annual reviews
- Participate in implementing policies and procedures required for PCI, SOC, HIPAA, etc.
- Assist in administering company-wide training (including setup, monitoring, auditing, follow-ups, troubleshooting, managing relationship with KnowBe4, on-boarding/off-boarding)
- Perform and propose potential improvements to the internal compliance auditing program
- Support SOC 2 Type II, PCI and HIPAA audits
- Assist in developing, delivering, and continuously enhancing IT security policies and practices, and helping with the training of employees and contractors on IT security protocols
- Assist with certifications and accreditation reviews, security test and evaluations and drafting associated reports
- Coordinate compliance remediation activities and maintain accurate list of open and close compliance issues for the organization
- Work with IT team to conduct, report, and remediate findings from vulnerability scans
- Leads short-term projects that interact with multiple departmental teams
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or accredited compliance management certification
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory and Exchange Server
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, NTP, RPC, TFTP, SNMP, DHCP
- VOIP phone systems experience. Asterisk or any Asterisk based distro is preferred
- Knowledge of multi-site networking, such as VPNs and static routing
- Basic knowledge of Database administration in either MySQL, MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Experience of using version control systems such as Git/SVN/CVS is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity best practices and their application
- Advanced knowledge of Linux environment. Expertise on Centos/Red Hat is a must.
- Experience in using advanced scripting language such as Bash, PHP, Python or Ruby
- Experience with web and application servers like Apache
- Strong information security background with System hardening, intrusion detection, and penetration testing for exploits
- Knowledge of automation and monitoring tools. Icinga knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge on Virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere and Citrix Xen Server
- Solid understanding of networking hardware firewall, switch and router configurations. pfSense firewall knowledge is preferred, managed switch experience is preferred
- Previous experience as a compliance analyst in a related field
- Previous experience with SOC 2 Type II audits, in-depth knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards
- Ability to write detailed and clear procedures and documentations that are easy to follow
