Job Summary:

We are looking for a Route Driver Service Representative who can provide an outstanding level of customer service while performing secure on-site document and data destruction services of highly confidential client material. This position requires the service rep to work independently while being extremely reliable. On the job training program.

Responsibilities:

· Drive on-site mobile shredding truck in a safe and efficient manner to client locations for service.

· Securely collect, transport and empty contents of paper shredding bins into truck for on-site shredding operation.

· Provide Certificate of Destruction at each and every client stop.

· Complete daily assigned customer route on schedule every day.

· Unload truck of shredded paper regularly at recycling plant.

· Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of truck and report any issues needing attention.

· Maintain all security and safety measures as outlined in company’s policies and procedures manual and immediately notify manager of any areas of concern.

Requirements:

· Excellent physical abilities – must be able to routinely lift up to 60 lb. bags of paper into loading tote throughout each day and on occasion carry boxes of paper up or down flights of stairs for small or large size purge jobs. Must be able to maneuver a 96 gallon wheeled tote container filled with paper throughout client facility to parked shredding truck.

· Must be able and comfortable in driving, parking and operating a 25,500 lb. 27’ non-CDL box truck in all types of inclement weather, as well as local streets, highways and traffic conditions.

· Must be able to perform duties in extreme heat and extreme cold conditions.

· Must be willing and able to work overtime based on route schedule or customer job requirements.

· Must have a safe and clean driving record.

· CDL not required, but a plus.

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Communication with customers in a professional and courteous manner is essential to this position.

· Must be able to make many account stops throughout each day, typically within several counties.

· Must have basic computer skills, be able to upload and occasionally adjust daily customer route schedule and operate handheld bar code scanner.

· Must have a comfortable knowledge of New Jersey territories and be able to navigate local roads as well as major highways.

Background Clearance:

Driving record, drug testing, criminal background in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
