What You'll be Doing Daily:
This is primarily a safety, preparedness coordination, and safety training role. You will also be responsible for daily management of facility which includes vendors & fleet safety.
- Driver and Fleet Safety: Implement and monitor safety protocols for company drivers and fleet operations.
- Safety Compliance & Audits: Implement safety programs, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate daily checks of safety equipment and update emergency response plans as needed.
- Employee Training: Facilitate day-to-day training on safety practices to ensure all employees are confident and prepared.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors for timely facility repairs and upgrades.
- Daily Facility Management: Ensure that the Facility runs smoothly by overseeing maintenance and operational functions. You'll manage HVAC systems, electrical setups, plumbing, and all building infrastructure.
Your Qualifications:
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Facilities Management, a related field or relevant experience.
- You should have 3-5 years of experience in safety compliance, and a strong command of OSHA regulations.
- Experience in training on OSHA regulations, company SOP
- Must have computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred skills & experience:
These are additional skills & experiences that you can bring to the table to elevate your opportunities in this role.
- Familiarity with fleet safety and driver training programs
- 1-2 years or more of experience in facility management
- Experience in Industrial hygiene testing
