Duties
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
- Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness before use.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies and equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, ensuring proper settings and procedures are followed.
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during processing.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to identify needs for instrument sets and ensure timely availability.
- Document all processes related to sterilization and maintenance of equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.
