Lab Support Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Support Technician
Pay Rate: $25 to $28.31/Hr
Duration: 12 months
Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM

• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other lab support duties
• Low-complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning)
• Glassware washing
• Material inventory monitoring support
• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed
• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations

Requirements:

• This is an entry-level position in a manufacturing group responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays.
• High school diploma with strength in science and math or relevant work experience, or B.S./B.A./A.S. in a relevant field
• Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred.
• Local candidates are preferred.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well-developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $28.31 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
