Job Title: Production Operator
Duration: 24 Months
Location: Cannon Falls, MN
2nd shift - $17.75/hr
3rd shift – $18.50/hr
Note: Must pass a background check and drug test
Our client is a global industrial and consumer products manufacturer.
Position Summary
- The Operator will routinely run one or more operational pieces of equipment associated with the Gap Pad Cellular processing area. (Kitting, Sheeting, Press 0, PX 5 & 7, PX 6, PX0, PX and Streuder Coaters)
Skills and Abilities:
- Can use or become qualified to use various specialized tools (Mic’s, Tape Measures, Scales, OGP, CMM, Thermal Tester, Peel Tester, etc)
- Can convert U.S. standards into metric measurements and weights.
- Mechanical aptitude to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) within assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that all processes are followed safely according to job routers, process specifications, engineering change orders (ECOs), and standard work procedures.
- Ensure that all required quality testing gets completed within product specification and documented appropriately with the actual test results reading.
- Performs and records all transactions and Labor Reporting accurately.
- Uses the inventory tracking tools appropriately, and labels all products to the process specifications.
- Transacts inventory before physical process action. “Transacts before Acts.”
- Bring inventory discrepancies forward to the cell coordinator, lead, or manager and helps investigate and resolve.
- Reports all non-conforming products to the cell coordinator, lead, or manager.
- Provide input in filling out the NCR form for all non-conforming materials and placing material in the assigned non-conforming materials area.
- Ensures work area is clean and organized to 5S standards and that a professional pass down is given to the oncoming shift operator.
- Is active in providing ideas and supporting process improvements that help enable the cell to grow upon its annual goals.

Comments/Special Instructions:
- 2 – Production Operator, 2nd shift - $17.75
- 2 – Production Operator, 3rd shift – $18.50
- 2 – Production Operator, Weekend Day - $19 (this could be FSS or SSM – 3, 12-hour shifts)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
