Job Title: Sanitization Processor
Pay Rate: $20 to 22.59/Hr (Part time - 20 Hrs a Week)
Duration: 12 Months (Initially for 12 Months but it may get further extension based on performance)
Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)
Work Schedule: Part-time - Mon to Fri - 9 AM to 1 PM PST (4 Hrs a Day; 20 Hrs a Week)
Our group focuses on developing tissue and tissue alternative technologies for structural heart therapies that provide the best solutions for patients. The main function of a Sanitization Processor is to ensure bioburden reduction of all manufacturing aids, tools, and equipment in keeping with Microbiology, Regulatory, and company standards.
- Prepare tools received from HVT isolation and final assembly- including washing, cleaning, and wrapping - for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests
- Load tools and manufacturing aids in the appropriate autoclave and/or oven per specified diagrammed instructions, and initiate equipment cycle for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests
- Review, follow, and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records
- On-time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8-hour or longer work period
- Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping and photocopying cycle charts
Education and Experience:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent Previous GMP, clean room, medical device experience preferred
- Able to follow instructions, able to read, and have good communication
- Well-organized, attention to detail
- 0-2 years of experience required
Additional Skills:
- Full understanding of load configurations and autoclave operations for autoclaves used for sanitization of tooling and supplies
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English, along with good communication skills including giving and receiving feedback
- Knowledge of and adherence to client Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines, as well as Microbiology standards, as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
- Strict attention to detail and ability to comply with standards
- Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions
- Work in a Team environment, primarily work within immediate work unit and with other departments as requested
