Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (PC imaging)
Pay Rate: $30 to $34/HR
Duration: 12 months
Location: Cary, NC (Onsite)
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist (PC imaging).
- Perform 2nd-level user help desk activities, individual coaching, and training and be involved in end-user engagement. Supports change-release processes and implementation of IT security guidelines.
- Responding to inquiries or addressing computer issues for users in person, over the phone, or from a remote location.
- Respond to user questions about the operation of computer software or hardware to troubleshoot problems, usually of a simpler nature
- May remotely install software or conduct hardware tests
- Input commands and monitor system performance to ensure proper operation and identify errors
- Manages complex IT installations and updates; and completes integration to communication network.
Requirements:
- Strong soft skills, and in-person IT support experience
- Prior role with PC imaging experience and networking knowledge
- An Associate's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training is required
- Familiarity with computer software, including configuration management, desktop communications, operating systems, and internet directory services software
