Job Title: CNC Programmer (Mastercam)
Pay Rate: $54 to $63/Hr.
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Palmdale, CA
Work Schedule - 3 Days Onsite (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) a Week (10 Hours a Day; 30 Hours a Week)
Shift - 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM Pacific time
We are looking for a CNC Programmer (Mastercam)
- This position is for the Quick Fix machine shop.
- Sets up and operates plain or universal, horizontal, or vertical milling machines to perform machining operations such as compound angles and contours; boring compound angular holes; doing helical and spiral milling; serrating; and gear, spline, and keyway cutting to exacting tolerances.
- Selects, mounts, and aligns various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling; plans sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; determines, sets, and adjusts speeds, feeds, and depth of cut; interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; uses a variety of machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations; and measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining.
- Operate CNC milling machine, CNC lathe, and ability to create programs using master cam application.
Requirement:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Formal Mastercam training is preferred, or OTJ training in related disciplines such as NX, CATIA, or Mastercam
- Operate CNC milling machine, and CNC lathe, and ability to create programs using master cam application.
- Ability to work in a team setting
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Machine shop environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $63.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
