Job Title: IT Specialist (Product Support)
Pay Rate: $25/Hr. - $30/Hr.
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM
We are looking for a IT Specialist (Product Support).
We offer a variety of products and services for buildings, including:
Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical support for the products we make (proprietary software and hardware)
- Respond to Questions via web, phone, email and Incoming questions to manuals or can escalate to get tickets
- Triage the calls the best they can and then escalate tickets if needed
- Managing the calls
- Troubleshooting the products, which will be learned on the job.
- People person and talk with clients to get through issue successfully.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- High understanding of customer satisfaction and service orientation
- Technical support for building automation/HVAC such as Fire Alarms, Security Systems, Control Panels, Windows servers, networking, or similar R&D/Engineering products support.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hardware or Software Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent related experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system and computer networking is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
