Job Description
The Instructor Trainer 3 will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of technical training for the client Grants Management System (GMS). This includes both in-person and web-based training sessions aimed at educating internal and external system users.
Key responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development: Develop, maintain, and update training materials, such as course outlines, instructional manuals, and multimedia presentations.
• Training Delivery: Lead classroom and web-based training sessions on system features, operational processes, and technical aspects, including Salesforce GMS.
• Content Creation: Develop both written and recorded materials for webinars, job aids, and tutorials tailored to different user groups (internal staff, external stakeholders, administrators).
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training outcomes and make recommendations for improving training programs. Regularly revise materials based on feedback and new system features.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technical staff and subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy of training content. Assist in the creation of supplemental documentation as needed.
• Vendor Management: Research, recommend, and manage external training vendors if necessary. Stay up to date with new trends in computer-based training methods and technologies.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience: 8 years in training instruction or related fields.
- Training Methods and Technologies: At least 8 years of experience in utilizing various training methodologies and technologies.
- Curriculum Development: 8 years of experience designing and developing curricula, including web-based and instructor-led courses.
- Instructional Design: Proven ability to create, update, and revise training materials and programs for IT systems.
- Tools and Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related fields.
- IT System Training: At least 4 years of experience with training materials related to Information Technology applications or systems.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
