Program Manager Role Overview
The team supports the product and technology group. The PM manages ingestion related projects, reporting, and works with engineering teams to deliver projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams on timelines, scheduling, and technical discussions.
The role focuses on:
Managing scheduling and timelines
Reporting on project status (weekly/biweekly)
Unblocking issues for engineering teams once product requirements are finalized
Collaborating with product/design as needed
Driving onboarding to the MSF platform, coordinating reviews with security, design, and architecture teams to ensure readiness for production
Main collaboration is with Product and Engineering, with MSF also part of the Engineering organization.
**Technical Knowledge Requirements:
Understanding of building distributed systems
Familiarity with microservices framework (TPMs are not expected to code or review code, but must understand terminology and interdependencies between teams)
Knowledge of reporting or business analytics
Cloud understanding (currently building in Azure, migrating on-prem documents into Azure to process with AI and derive insights)
Tooling:
Exposure to and comfort with Jira, Confluence, Google Suite (especially Google Sheets)
Interview Process: 2-3 rounds of interviews (2 from the PM side, 1 from the engineering side)
