What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Training Specialist position at Infotec?
Infotec is a nationally recognized training organization empowering clients with world-class IT and Leadership training and certification. Founded in 1988, Infotec has been designing and delivering training solutions for State/Local/Federal Government Agencies, DoD, Military Contractors, Regional Businesses, and Large Commercial Corporations for over 28 years.
Technical Training Specialist responsibilities: The successful candidate will deliver classroom courseware onsite, remote and virtually. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Office 2016, Office 2019 and Microsoft 365
- Skills with CompTIA certification
- Curriculum development to include customized courses and slide deck development
- Classroom setup and preparation
- Perform well within a team environment
This position is initially contract with eventual full-time hire

Technical Trainer Qualifications and Skills
- Strong working knowledge of IT
- Advanced technical skills in e-learning and mobile training
- Strong teaching and mentoring experience
- Computer skills
- Ability to flexibly deal with students of varying skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- A bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science, or commensurate experience
- Experience working in the field is welcome
- Professional certifications helpful
