Job Description
The Production Operator/Assembler is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of products. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing quality checks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain workflow.
- Perform quality inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Document production data, including machine performance, quality checks, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in training new employees on manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
