Job Overview
The Assembly Worker is responsible for performing visual inspections, reworking products, and ensuring quality standards are met for returned items. This role involves repetitive manual tasks, detailed inspections, and documentation to support the overall quality control process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform manual assembly of small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections and rework products as needed, utilizing microscopes when necessary.
- Perform functional testing of products as required.
- Accurately document quantities of inspected parts and maintain records.
- Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
- Execute repetitive, simple tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Ability to read and follow written procedures accurately.
- Capable of identifying product defects such as splits, flash, loose debris, and misprints.
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to discern small letters and numbers.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements effectively.
- Comfortable working with microscopes for detailed inspections.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-6 months experience Minimum Qualifications.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
