Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Machine Operator, operates simple automated machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality assembly of products. The role involves routine machine tasks, identifying and fixing minor machine issues, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while following safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate automated assembly machines to produce high-quality products.
· Start and stop machines as required and ensure continuous operation.
· Identify and resolve minor machine faults and restart machines when needed.
· Perform work order setups and follow procedures for batch records, data entry, and inventory systems.
· Read and interpret gauges, dials, and machine indicators to monitor performance.
· Perform quality checks on products during and after the assembly process.
· Weigh, count, package, and label finished items accurately.
· Document production records and complete work orders.
· Learn to operate different types of simple machines and adapt to new tasks.
Qualifications:
· Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols.
· Basic mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot machine issues.
· Attention to detail to ensure product quality and accurate documentation.
· Willingness to learn and operate various machines with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $19.20 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
