Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Machine Assembler to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting production machinery and components to meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Assembly:
- Assemble machinery and equipment according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
Testing and Inspection:
- Conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of assembled machines.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
Quality Assurance:
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Document and report nonconformities to supervisors.
Material Handling:
- Manage and organize assembly parts, components, and tools efficiently.
- Report inventory shortages to the relevant department.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Experience in mechanical assembly, production, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with assembly of production machinery or industrial equipment is preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.15 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Medical Device: 1 year (Preferred)
- Machine Operating: 1 year (Required)
- Packaging: 1 year (Preferred)
