What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Microbiology Specialist position at Infotree Global Solutions?
Position Summary: The Quality Control Microbiologist will be responsible for performing microbiological testing, including environmental monitoring and raw material testing, in accordance with cGMP regulations. This position ensures that the highest quality standards are maintained in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory, including calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments, testing of raw materials and drug products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Position Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a similar science field, or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum of two years of relevant progressive experience in a Quality Control Laboratory environment, specifically in cGMP settings.
- Working knowledge of cGMP, DEA, and other regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical production and associated quality systems.
- Labware LIMS or Empower experience is preferred.
- Previous microbiology testing experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other general analytical methods.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and quality management systems like LIMS, Trackwise, and Qdocs.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
