Job Overview:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing quality control inspections and tests to ensure that products meet the required specifications and standards. This position involves working closely with production teams to identify and address any quality issues and maintaining accurate inspection records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting Materials and Products: Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conducting Testing: Perform various tests (visual, mechanical, and functional) to check for defects, compliance with specifications, and performance standards.
- Identifying Defects: Detect any product defects or deviations from standards, and report these issues to the production or engineering team.
- Ensuring Compliance: Ensure that the products meet regulatory standards, company policies, and industry guidelines (such as ISO standards).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Prepare quality reports for management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require an associate degree or higher in a related field).
- Experience: Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role is often preferred, especially in manufacturing or production environments.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
