Key Responsibilities
- Support enterprise IT initiatives and critical business projects.
- Collaborate with front-line service staff to resolve escalated service desk issues and interface with clients.
- Administer back-end IT systems and take ownership of key infrastructure maintenance.
- Maintain client backup and monitoring systems under IT Manager / Director guidance :
- Perform scheduled maintenance, including hypervisor and cloud server updates (AWS, Azure).
- Conduct test restores, document issues, and ensure backup integrity.
- Configure system monitoring and alerts to preempt potential failures.
- Identify and resolve documentation gaps related to IT processes, configurations, and diagrams.
- Modify and enhance PowerShell scripts to improve automation and efficiency.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline IT operations.
- Manage Active Directory users, groups, and GPOs.
- Administer at least two components of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
