- Assist the CAD Cutter Set-up Operator with markers and resolve any layout issues.
- Report any issues with patterns, software, hardware, or systems to the Lead or Supervisor.
- Input patterns and fabrics into the CAD system as needed.
- Create markers and apply frames to fabrics as required.
- Print, laminate, and file miniature markers appropriately.
- Record all markers and yardage in the mainframe computer system.
- Retrieve markers as per the production schedule.
- Collaborate with cutters on marker layouts.
- Participate in special projects related to fabric yield.
- Assist with marking spot points and cutting new swatches.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with a CAD program is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and CAD systems related to pattern design is essential for success in this role.
