Responsibilities :
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed and accurate drawings for land planning and recreation projects that involve the planning, design, and management of outdoor spaces. These projects aim to enhance the aesthetic, ecological, and functional qualities of the environment and may include public spaces such as parks, plazas, and streetscapes, and master plans for entire neighborhoods or communities including sports fields, playgrounds, trails, and recreational facilities.
- Transform conceptual designs and sketches into technical drawings.
- May assist in conducting site analysis and collaborate with other disciplines to gather relevant data for design projects.
- Collaborate with the team to incorporate topographical information and constraints into designs.
- Work closely with landscape architects and engineers to develop plans, layouts, and specifications.
- Ensure that designs comply with applicable regulations and standards.
- Complete drawings / project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule while reviewing own work for completeness and accuracy.
- Organize and maintain files and project-related information per company procedures.
- Stays informed about advancements in CAD technology and tools. Analyzes and devises new or improved techniques when problems arise. Communicates solutions to supervisor for approval and implementation.
- Serves on Committees and Teams as requested by management.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
