InfraHire is looking for Electrical Engineer in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States
- Designing electrical distribution systems, power systems, and lighting systems for commercial and educational facilities.
- Performing branch circuit and feeder calculations, equipment specification, and emergency power system layout.
- Preparing and overseeing electrical power system design including single line diagrams, wiring, and elementary diagrams along with layout and circuitry design.
- Coordinating designs and drawings for plant electrical systems to meet applicable standards and codes.
- Reviewing supplier drawings for conformity with specifications, dimensional compatibility, and assemblies and components.
- Interacting with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and electrical engineers to design required coordinated designs.
- Developing accurate and precise product designs that comply with drafting and company standards.
- Reviewing and coordinating vendor design documents to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Conducting quality assurance checks of electrical, control detail engineering, and design project deliverables.
- Comparing project budgets with schedules to coordinate multidiscipline groups.
- Having a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering technology degree.
- Holding a P.E. Professional Engineering License.
- Having 4 or more years of work experience with an engineering consultant.
- Being proficient in Revit 2023 / 2025 and AutoCAD design software.
- Being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Having the ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy.
- Possessing strong oral, written, and communication skills.
- Having excellent time-management and organizational skills.
