About The Role
Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (I E I) is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our Team! We are a leading engineering firm known for quality and responsiveness and a proven track record of success as a Prime civil engineering firm. The primary goal of IEI’s Marketing Internship Program is to allow students to incorporate and apply lessons learned in the classroom to a professional corporate setting where they will develop their business, technical and communication skills. Our internship program is geared towards assisting students in developing professional skills such as communicating effectively, thinking critically, maximizing relationships, teamwork, professional networking, and an understanding of business procedures.
The internship experience will provide students with the opportunity to meet professionals in Marketing and the AEC industry, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the workplace in a way that cannot be taught in a classroom. It is our goal that the internship provides a meaningful learning experience to students who are developing and deciding to be future marketing or business professionals. What You'll Do
- Work on validation and enhancement of data in firm-wide database (Deltek platform)
- Implement and enhance on-going firm-wide data reports
- Support the creation and cataloging of marketing collateral materials
- Support Marketing Team in a variety of day-to-day activities from social media to new business proposals
- Practical skills with Adobe and Microsoft product suites, as well as WordPress
- Practical application of materials learned in undergraduate courses
- Workplace essentials – working against deadlines, working with teams, networking
- Industry-related knowledge and soft skills
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Business or other related fields
- Attention to detail, maturity, effective communication, and professionalism
- Committed to full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, during the 8 weeks internship program (June 16th - August 8th, 2025); In-office 4-days per week, virtual one day
- Ready to build relationships, collaborate, and learn
