Job Description
The RP Oversight will act as a liaison between company and subcontractors/resource partner. Perform daily spot audits, pre-check job sites to ensure the job is ready and able to be worked according to drawings. The RP Oversight will work with the supervisor to assign and prioritize work to be assigned to the RP's. Prioritize daily schedule to ensure they are with crews during critical path drilling.
Essential Duties:
Conducts daily spot audits on Subcontractor/Resource Partner (RP) crews.
Plans daily audit schedule with daily Subcontractor/RP crew routing sheet.
Ensure Subcontractor/RP crews are properly wearing PPE.
Ensure Subcontractor/PR crews are installing conduit or cable with photographs that are uploaded to the work order on the Infratech system.
Ensure equipment and directional drills are properly set up, i.e. cones, MOT, wheel chocks etc.
Report safety, compliance, and general issues to the supervisor.
Basic qualifications for this position:
Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Demonstrated knowledge of; job site safety systems, safe excavation and digging techniques.
Proficient with PC/Computer
HDD Experience Required.
Experience in overhead and underground electric operations. Utility-related work experience and training preferred. Must be able to work unsupervised and travel to various worksites.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles. The employee will be exposed to a variety of conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
