Finished Products Warehouse Team Member (1st shift) - Rockford, IL

Our US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for a Finished Goods Warehouse Team Member.
Primary Responsibilities include:
This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position requiring accurate processing and packaging of 300 plus shipments per workday. Must have ability to stand, walk, lift, stretch and bend frequently for duration of shift; involves frequent lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 pounds. Will be responsible for one or more of the following tasks as determined by workflow need and management placement:
- Pulling orders and returning stock to inventory
- Organizing stock
- Monitor inventory and conduct cycle counts
- Accurate shipping of products to customers
- Scan individual parts and invoice, logging shipment into AS 400 system and verifying accuracy
- Packaging of shipment and printing shipping label from UPS/ Fed EX manifest
- Unpacking shipments, receiving orders, and updating database
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience within an inventory, warehousing, or retail environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with the ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations
- Works well independently as well as in groups with limited supervision
- Detail orientated with emphasis on accuracy and count verification
- Highly organized with the capability to multi-task and uphold high volume work loads
- Ability to initiate tasks to be completed with little or no direction
- Computer literate utilizing Microsoft Outlook and AS400 or similar system preferred
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently, as well as with others, in a team environment. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits, demonstrate safety consciousness, and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
The Salary range for this position is $17-20/hr.
