Location: Mocksville, NC
Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
* Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts, and sub-assemblies on any line within the plant, in accordance with predetermined standard work.
* Reads and interprets engineering drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, bills of material, and quality control documents.
* Takes responsibility for quality and work content performed in the applicable operation by signing off on the appropriate documentation prior to indexing to the next step in process.
* Ensures that all tools used in performing job duties are within calibration, as stated on calibration sticker. Where discrepancies arise, immediate notification of supervisor occurs.
* Maintains clean, orderly, and safe work area and follow all safety rules and procedures.
* Use of calipers, dial, indicators, precision measuring devices.
* Stand for extended periods of time and l ift up to 35 pounds
* Be familiar with machine set ups and
Ability to troubleshoot machine issues
* Ability to learn basic computer skills
* Good command of the English language is required
* Ability to read and understand work orders and other types of reports.
* Higher skill level must analyze information, and present and create reports
* Ability to easily perform basic math abilities including addition, subtraction, division, fractions and decimals
* Ability to interpret graphs and other data require
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Minimum of one year experience with assembly of equipment requiring a high degree of precision.
