Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
· Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
· Assist in the development and management of the annual budget and forecasting process.
· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
· Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
· Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
· Support annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
· Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Highly proficient with accounting software (NetSuite preferred).
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, required.
· At least five years of accounting experience, preferred.
· Management experience, required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
