What You’ll Do:

SUMMARY: It is the primary duty of this position to control the incoming orders or import that information and to dispatch Ingram drivers to deliver the orders and work professionally with all customers. Also must complete a pre-employment screening.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Operate Ingram phone system.
• Operate the batching computer system.
• Maintain an orderly and organized office.
• Maintain supply of required safety equipment, including personal protective devices (hard hat, safety glasses, and vehicular equipment, triangles, fire extinguisher, etc.)
• Maintain health such that will allow passing health, drug & alcohol tests.
• Maintain a positive attitude with fellow workers, customers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Schedule and dispatch work orders to appropriate locations according to customer requests.
• Attend to Customer phone calls and follow up calls.
• Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules.
• Troubleshooting: Determining causes of operating errors and taking actions.
• Prepare daily work and run schedules.
• Monitor drivers and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a working knowledge of Readymix Operations.
• Ability to effectively lead the drivers in writing, verbally as well as on a two-way radio.
• Required to pass a physical exam.
• Must have working knowledge of computers.
• Required to pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Must have customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must have organizational skills.
• Must be a flexible and independent team player.
• Must be able to work long hours (with no set schedule).

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

• Work out of doors occasionally and be exposed to cement, sand, diesel, automotive coolants, other petroleum products and truck washing soaps.
