Job Description
The Jr. OR (Sr.) Recruiter will assist with the daily functions of the Talent Acquisition/HR department including administrative tasks, data entry and scheduling, candidate communication support, updating Applicant Tracking System (ATS), candidate outreach (sourcing), and conducting interviews for “entry-level” OR “executive-level” positions.
What You ’ ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities):
- Assist managers and Sr. TA in drafting and maintaining job descriptions to be posted publicly and internally.
- Responsible for recruitment process for jobs internally defined to be “entry-level” (Sr. - Executive Search).
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assess applications for potential skills match for what the requisition will require.
- Thoroughly screen candidates selected for evaluation by Hiring Managers.
- Enter/Update candidate profiles in ATS.
- Maintain general organization of ATS.
- Update and maintain accurate information in work management programs such as Asana.
- Manage recruiting process with Hiring Managers.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned, which may become essential to the position.
What We ’ re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- (Sr. - Experience managing relationships with C-level executives)
- Minimum of 1 year (Sr. - 4 years) experience recruiting for “entry-level” (Sr. - Executive-level) roles.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience providing candidate sourcing support in multi-location, multi-state organizations required.
- Proven track record of attention to detail, organizing and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Experience conducting candidate interviews.
- Experience using ATS (Paycom familiarity is a huge plus).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to escalate them to Sr. teammates when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least one year of human resource-related experience preferred.
