Night shift 1900-0730
Every other weekend requirement
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization
Implement and monitor patient care plans
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Job Requirements
Must be AHA certified in BLS
Must be AHA certified in PALS
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment
Must be AHA certified in ACLS
Must have NRP certification
Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required to be completed prior to start and updated every 3 years thereafter
Completed Ascension Color Vision prior to start and updated every 3 years
HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics completed within a year of start updated yearly
Up to date TNCC certification renewed every 4 years
NIH Certification updated yearly
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training completed every 2 years
Ascension EKG Exam completed prior to start
Ascension Unit Specific Checklist uploaded by unit leader within a week
Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation uploaded by agency after completion
