Job Details
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and / or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
Traveler must have IN / Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
Locals : NOT accepted.
Shift Requirements : 4x12 or 3x12
Call-Ins : If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract. If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract.
Special Equipment : Alaris IV pumps, Belmont blood transfusers, Stryker beds, Philips monitors
Additional Details
Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable. CCS : Please check the cost center to verify what certifications are required.
HIPAA Acknowledgement required.
Online Verification of License to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date). Must be through primary source. IN.gov.
