We are looking for an Account Director to join our growing team! You will be responsible fo rhte hands-on planning, management, implementation, and financial oversight of various client programs. You will be the daily client lead for the business you support managing assigned projects independently and managing a larger team of direct reports. You will actively participate in new business efforts both growing your current clients and helping to secure new clients.
This is a remote role that will report into a Senior Vice President.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. $110,000—$130,000 USD

You Will:
Client Partnership
- Develop and cultivate relationships with clients and external audiences
- Counsel clients based on communications landscape and business goals, showcasing ability to marry communications/PR tactics up to client’s broader strategy
- Direct planning and execution of projects ensuring efficiency and high-quality delivery of results
- Play a major part in drafting client communications materials, such as emails, project proposals, newsletters, research and results reports, press releases/materials, video scripts, social media content, etc.
- Handle issue management, mobilizing teams to respond to issues and provide sound recommendations to clients on how to address them
- Lead and oversee development of client budgets and SOWs, tracking monthly financials for each client, and mentor mid-to-junior level staff on financials
- Take an active role in monthly forecasting and developing staff plans for core clients
- Research, develop, and present new business proposals, gaining more confidence and experience leading new business efforts
- Participate in organic/new business pitches with confidence
- Identify and realize opportunities for organic account growth
- Be able to seamlessly flex between teams / management styles
- Be a role model for junior team members
- Conduct annual reviews for direct reports and regular check-ins, overseeing professional development and opportunities for growth and advancement
- Supervise junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching and providing detailed feedback
- Role model company values and inspire an inclusive culture
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or health / science related field or equivalent experience
- 7 years of healthcare communications agency experience
- An ability to work cooperatively across cross-functional teams
- 2 years of experience leading a team and direct reports
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, teams and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing resources and budgets
- Experience with media relations strategy and social media landscape
- Demonstrated understanding of Inizio Evoke Communications’ mission and values and a commitment to the growth and success of the company
- A passion for improving patient lives through innovations in health
- An understanding of current issues in domestic and global health
