Summary/Objective: We seek an experienced AV expert to lead the installation of complex projects. As a Level 2 Senior AV Technician, you will be responsible for installing and validating systems, reporting progress to the Project Manager.

Summary/Objective: We seek an experienced AV expert to lead the installation of complex projects. As a Level 2 Senior AV Technician, you will be responsible for installing and validating systems, reporting progress to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation tasks as per project Scope of Works (SOW)
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Support the Project Manager with site supervision of the install team, communication of daily job site status, and completion of required job documentation
- Act as customer liaison on site per project scope and directives.
- Communicate and coordinate with other trades on site
- Use hand and power tools for various system installation related tasks, including soldering and termination of connectors
- Fabricate AV Rack as per elevation drawing with professional cable management
- Work with manufacturers to initiate return material authorization as needed
- Test point-to-point cabling, functionality of systems, and code for control and DSP systems
- Support and engineer or programmer with minor programming changes to DSPs or room processors
- Configure IP addressable devices to establish communication on network
- Create, track, and complete a project punchlist
- Write and edit code for DSP systems
- Complete preventative maintenance checks, diagnosis, and necessary repair
- Provide client training as needed

- Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to travel extensively
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet
- Minimum of 5 years of installation experience in audio visual, electronics, or related industry
- Valid and current CTS Certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal education in Audio Visual, Electronics, or related field
- OSHA Certified
- Ability to obtain formal approved clearances may be required
- Experience with Enterprise VC solutions both hardware and software
- AVIXA CTS-I certification preferred
- Position Type: Contract, 40 hours per week
