The CRM/Email/SMS Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email and SMS marketing campaigns that drive lead generation, customer engagement, and conversions. This role involves working closely with the demand generation and marketing teams to create compelling messaging, segment audiences, and utilize data-driven insights to improve campaign performance. The Specialist will play a critical role in developing targeted campaigns aimed at nurturing prospects, re-engaging existing customers, and driving revenue growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Plan, create, and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns that align with overall demand generation goals, focusing on lead generation, nurturing, and conversions.
- Develop segmented email/SMS lists and use customer insights to personalize campaigns for different buyer personas, behaviors, and stages of the customer journey.
- Collaborate with the content, design, and product teams to create compelling and visually engaging email and SMS content that aligns with the company’s brand and messaging.
- A/B test subject lines, content, call-to-action (CTA) buttons, and sending times to optimize engagement and improve campaign performance.
- Lead Nurturing & Engagement:
- Design automated email and SMS drip campaigns that nurture leads through the sales funnel, from initial contact to conversion.
- Monitor customer behavior (opens, clicks, unsubscribes, etc.) and adjust campaigns to maximize conversions and minimize churn.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of email and SMS campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and ROI.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns, refine messaging, and improve overall demand generation strategies.
- Report on key campaign metrics to leadership and provide actionable recommendations for improving engagement and generating more qualified leads.
- Optimization & Testing:
- Continuously monitor email/SMS deliverability, inbox placement, and list health, ensuring that campaigns reach the intended recipients.
- Implement and refine segmentation strategies to ensure the right messages reach the right audiences at the right time.
- Use A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve key campaign metrics and maintain high performance across email/SMS campaigns.
- Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure email and SMS campaigns comply with legal requirements, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other privacy regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies in email and SMS marketing, incorporating new tactics to improve campaign effectiveness.
