Position Overview
One of Hawaii’s largest organizations seeks an experienced Total Rewards leader to drive strategic direction for its compensation and benefits programs. With 10,000 employees and deep community roots, the organization is seeking a confident executive to shape the future of its Total Rewards programs, lead a high-performing team, and advise senior leadership and board committees on total rewards strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide compensation and benefits strategies.
- Oversee a team of 10, including Compensation and Benefits Managers.
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert in total rewards, including executive compensation, job architecture, and market competitiveness.
- Guide the organization through system upgrades, strategic reviews, and modernization of pay and benefits structures.
- Present and advise executive leadership and board committees on Total Rewards policy and direction.
- Collaborate across HR and organizational leadership to support talent acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
- 15 years of progressive HR experience, including 10 years in total rewards, compensation, and benefits
- 7 years in a senior leadership role managing HR professionals
- Strategic mindset with experience leading Total Rewards functions in large and/or complex organizations
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior leadership and board committees
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
