Job Overview: As an Event Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of various events. You will assist with all aspects of event coordination, from logistics and vendor management to on-site support, ensuring events run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help manage event timelines, schedules, and task lists.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Support event set-up and breakdown, including arranging décor, materials, and equipment.
- Help track budgets and keep inventory of event supplies.
- Coordinate transportation and accommodation logistics for attendees, if needed.
- Manage event materials and promotional items for giveaways or displays.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during events.
- Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring all activities are executed smoothly.
- Assist with post-event activities, including feedback collection and follow-up communication.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
