In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event management, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the client's expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a variety of events, including corporate meetings, social gatherings, and fundraisers.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and objectives for each event.
- Develop event budgets and ensure all expenses align with client expectations.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and entertainment.
- Create and distribute event schedules and materials, including invitations and programs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage relationships to achieve the best outcomes for events.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by events.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
