Job Description :
The Junior Business Analyst, Clinical Applications is a Full Time, Regular position working Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm PST with occasional on call or after hours work.
Summary : The Junior Business Analyst - Clinical Applications applies their knowledge of Healthcare and Clinical Applications to administer, demonstrate, implement, train, and support various business systems within the Healthcare Solutions Team. This position works to assists to identify and recommend improvements for the clinical applications and workflow. The Junior Business Analyst - Clinical Applications is responsible for implementing and supporting multiple clinical applications for the clients of Inland Imaging. The expectation of this position is that the Business Analyst - Clinical Applications will complete the position duties / responsibilities with a minimal level of direct supervision from the Team Leader.
General Description : The Junior Business Analyst - Clinical Applications interacts with other departments within Inland Imaging, its clients, and its vendors. The Junior Business Analyst - Clinical Applications devised test plans, builds test data and test new or enhances application functions. They are responsible to develop and deliver training and workflow documents. The Junior Business Analyst - Clinical Applications must be able to work closely with a team in accomplishing IT based implementations and providing daily operational support to our clients.

Contributes to the maintenance of appropriate technical documentation necessary for IT Operations, training, workflow, and analysis.
Provides application support to user requests, including dictionary configuration, functionality troubleshooting, custom reports, training, and workflow analysis.Enters, prioritizes, and escalates service tickets via the ticket system as requests and issues are reported.Maintains professional positive attitude that communicates our brand to our clients.Resolves general IT problems (hardware, PC, networking, domain, software, etc.) in a timely manner.Responds promptly to customer needs, escalates difficult customer situations, and solicits customer feedback to improve service.Works directly with customers, via the phone, onsite, and online, to provide services and help resolve computing problems.Clinical Applications SolutionsTakes ownership of clinical application(s) of the Healthcare Solutions Team.
Participates in identifying and providing input for solutions and improvements to our clinical systems.Works with the Healthcare Solutions Team in operational and organizational analysis to identify areas of needed improvement.Works collaboratively on designing workflows, processes, data flow and other solutions with customer's systems and business practices.Participates in the process for successful deployments, including documentation of test plans, creation of test data, and evaluation of these results.Project ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates application functionality to appropriate personnel as requested.
Participates in the deployments and projects of the Radiology Solutions team.Works as an active member of the project team to adhere to project plans and statement of work documents related to the implementation of various Radiology solutions.Functions as an analyst during the implementation phases of various Radiology Solutions.Upgrades, New VersionsContributes to the development of training plans and conducts training for users on applications.
Contributes to the development and participates in the execution of workflow-based test plans for upgrades and new software deployments.Works with the Healthcare Solutions Team to ensure the overall success of all upgrades.Job KnowledgeDevelops and maintains fundamental knowledge of clinical applications user functionality, whether implemented or not.
Develops and maintains fundamental knowledge, at a server or back-end level, of Clinical application functionality.Develops and maintains fundamental knowledge, from a user perspective, of clinical applications workflow.Maintains fundamental analytical skills in the use of Crystal Report writer and SQL query language.Maintains fundamental knowledge of HealthCare integration standards, such as HL7, DICOM, XML, and HTML.Maintains fundamental knowledge of IT standards as they relate to RIS and PACS architecture, such SQL, Microsoft Clustering Services, TCP / IP, and Windows Server OS.Customer AdvocacyWorks closely with customers to provide consultation on solutions to business problems. Creates the necessary professional documents outlining these solutions.
Communicates and manages the project and task-based deliverables to customers and management on behalf of the Radiology Solutions team.Schedule RequirementsThis position requires the ability, knowledge, and professionalism to support critical medical applications that demand a 24 / 7 uptime, which will require flexible work schedules including evenings and weekends.
The Junior Business Analyst - Clinical Applications is responsible for supporting clinical applications may extend to non-scheduled work time, where immediate support may be required.This position is required to participate in the On-call Rotation.General Duties and Responsibilities :

Education : Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experienceExperience & Knowledge :Minimum of one year of IT experience supporting RIS, PACS and Voice Recognition is required.
Minimum of one year of experience in Radiology workflow such as RIS, PACS, or EMR / EHR is required.Experience managing IT implementation is desired.Radiology office or other medical facility experience is desired.Fundamental knowledge of medical modalities, image transmission, DICOM Modality worklist is desired.Fundamental knowledge of human anatomy and exams conducted in a radiology department is desired.Computer Applications : Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired :Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio, Publisher)
