Job Description :
The Radiologic / Fluoro Technologist I is a Supplemental position filling in for vacation and sick calls at various locations depending on department need.
Summary : Performs general diagnostic radiography exams, including fluoroscopy. Responsible for obtaining the highest quality radiological exams under the direct or indirect supervision of a Radiologist per established Inland Imaging guidelines and protocols.

- Performs General Diagnostic Radiography exams, including Fluoroscopy
Sets up sterile trays for fluoroscopic guided procedures
Assists radiologist / midlevel personnel with fluoroscopic proceduresAdministers oral / rectal contrast during fluoroscopic examsAdministers IV contrast during GU studiesAssists physician (non-radiologist) with fluoroscopic / C-Arm proceduresAssists patients as needed to obtain quality examsPhysically maneuvers / lifts (lifting is done with assistance from other staff members) patients to a standing position to perform x-ray exams

Maintains clean radiographic / fluoroscopic equipment.Assists in the appropriate transportation of patients as neededParticipates with the training of students in the educational radiologic technologist programPerforms general diagnostic radiography exams, including Fluoroscopy in OR, Endoscopy, and other appropriate areas.Assists physician (non-radiologist) with fluoroscopic / C-Arm procedures
Assists other staff in preparing room for procedure involving use of radiographic / fluoroscopic equipment.Assists in the appropriate transportation of patients as neededPerforms portable radiographic examsOperates C-Arm in OR, Endoscopy, or where requested.This position may be required to work in a hospital, urgent care or clinical setting.Adheres to all DOH, TJC, Inland Imaging and partnering facilities policies and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned.Sacred Heart Medical Center Site Specific Skillset :
