Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join Inland Residential Real Estate Services as a key member of our staff. As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our community.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours as needed. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, paid vacation, and retirement plan.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs to apartments, common areas, and grounds
- Conduct vacant apartment preparation, trash removal, and emergency repairs
- Clean and maintain the property's exterior and interior spaces
- Order maintenance equipment and supplies
- Keep accurate records of service requests and expenditures
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in property maintenance or equivalent fieldwork
- Ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and management
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC systems, and landscaping
- Furnish own tools and transportation for parts and supplies
- Must be HVAC certified and CPO certified (preferred)
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working on roofs
