Description
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for executing social media strategies across inMusic’s DJ brands. In this role, you will will focus on content creation, community engagement, and brand storytelling to drive awareness, engagement, and growth. Our ideal candidate is passionate about music, highly creative, and well-versed in social media trends and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Create, post, and monitor content (text, image, and video) across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and marketing teams to create compelling visual and written content.
- Write clear, on-brand captions, social media copy, video and photo content that resonate with our audience.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and marketing goals.
Community Engagement & Brand Presence
- Monitor and actively engage with followers, customers, and influencers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and build relationships with DJs, music creators, and influencers who align with our brand in association with the wider marketing team, and in collaboration with the Global artist liaison.
- Manage brand reputation by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and escalating concerns as needed.
Campaign Development & Strategy
- Brainstorm and execute creative campaigns to increase audience engagement, brand awareness, and product visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support new product launches, promotions, and industry events.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and industry news to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Take community cues on important occasions/trends to develop rich shareable content (ie; Hip Hop 50th, Women DJs).
- Actively share tagged content from software and hardware users across all brands.
Press & Public Relations Support
- Draft press releases for product launches, partnerships, and major brand announcements.
- Coordinate with media outlets, bloggers, and industry influencers to amplify brand coverage.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing engagement, audience growth, and key learnings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools preferred).
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
- Passion for music, DJ culture, and audio technology is a big plus.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work at a fast pace
